I have a webcam and I am gonna use it!

As some of you folks who have been following my rubbish since the beginning will know, I have had some ups and downs regarding my show. I launch with a channel, we get into a groove, promises are made and then everything goes tits up.

I have had enough of that, and I have decided to take things into my own hands and as of tomorrow, Annoyed Gamer will be broadcasting live over the interwebs once again.

The show is going to be ultra low tech, just me, a mic and a webcam. No trailers, no flashy logos or anything. When I go for a pee break, there won't be any music and cut to commercials, I will just say "I am going for a pee".

I want this show to feel like you are chatting with one of your mates about games. I am going to be spouting my opinions, but there with a chat window for you to submit questions and if I catch them, I will try and answer!

So, if you want to drop by, please do. 12 Noon PST tomorrow (Sat, Sept 19th). I am going to be talking about Muramasa, Tekken 6, WET and lots of other stuff.

Its going to be like a live video podcast I think.

Oh yeah, here is the link:

  1. Yo Marcus, I catch Invisible Walls regularly and
have always thought a off shoot focusing
on your perspective of things would be of
interest, Glad to see you have decided to give
    it a shot.

I unfortunately will be at work and will miss
the show but wish you good luck on it.

Any chance of you releasing the audio?

  3. Great first outing. It's nice to hear your opinions unrestricted by time or politely taking turns.

As far as Blizzard being the "golden child" of Activision and being autonomous, I'm not sure that's entirely the case. One example if this is how Activision-Blizzard is trying to monetize battle.net with advertising being the first move in that direction:

It seems like even Blizzard can't escape the money machine, even if it's raking in an obscene revenue through subscriptions.

  4. There's also some evidence that at least a few people at Infinity Ward have the gumption to poke some fun at Kotick: http://15oa.sl.pt I don't know if that will sway your opinion about sharing some of that Blizzard loyalty with Infinity Ward.
